Mizuhiki is an ancient Japanese art that uses a special cord created from washi paper wrapped in silk and was used to tie up the hair of the samurai and geisha.
I started this project for the elderly people to find Ikigai. It’s really good for them to use their fingers and it’s so nice to give back to the Japanese society.
All the money will go directly to the makers (I'll provide them the materials). Hook earrings come with a beautiful card and an envelope and since they are flat and they'd make ideal Christmas presents.
Hooks are 18K gold plated surgical steel (allergy free) but there is an option to have the studs and earrings (at an additional cost).
