Price includes rental of everything you need - Kimono, Nagajuban (Inner Kimono), Obi (Thick Belt), Obijime (Thin Belt), Hair Accessories, Zouri (Shoes) and all of the other small items. Tabi socks are included in the price.

Where do I get dressed?

I can come to your home with the Kimono and dress you/your children (there is an additional fee if it is not within 40 min distance from my studio) or you are welcome to come to my studio - 5min from Shirokane Takanawa Station (Azabujuban, Hiroo can be used as well).

How long does it take to get dressed?

• Ladies Kimono 60min

• Ladies Furisode 75min

• Mens Kimono 40min

• Mens Hakama 50min

• 3 year old girls and boys 20min

• 5-7 year old boys 40min

• 7 year old girls 60min
  

Hair Styling can be done at the same time as kimono dressing at a cost of ￥3.000 per child (long hair) and ￥5.000 per adult. Please note I do not provide professional makeup but I can recommend some makeup artists who have worked with me before. For Nihongami Japanese Hair, please ask your hair dresser to do it as not many hairdressers can arrange this style.

What to prepare for the day

For the inner undershirt, please wear short or long sleeves with wide neck (you can also cut an old shirt as well) so that it won’t show in the pictures around the neck. For ladies, please wear a sports bra if possible or a bra without wires or push up fuction.
